Wood Heating stoves

In times when the effects of global warming have been a highly discussed topic the conscious use of energy resources is becoming ever more important. And it is for this reason that heating with wood - a tradition that has gone hand in hand with man's evolution - is in the front line today. By using wood in fact we would become completely independent from fossil fuels, such as gas and hydrocarbons, and even partly independent of electricity. In times of environmental crisis the uncertainty of finding raw materials from under our feet is felt even more, with the continuous fluctuations in the price for gas and oil, wood returns as a precious ally: even in the future it will be an easy to find resource, out of the spotlights of economic crises because this fuel, that has varied the least in price over the years, is still the cheapest. And besides all this there's the added advantage that wood is eco-sustainable. As a matter of fact, for a tree's vital cycle it has to absorb carbon dioxide (CO2). As the wood burns it lets off the same identical quantity of CO2 that it accumulated when it was a tree. With this in mind, it doesn't matter at all if the wood is burnt or left to rot in the forest: the content of CO2 re-emitted into the atmosphere is always the same! And, in both cases, the quantity of carbon dioxide released is re-absorbed by other growing trees.

Heating with wood thus respects the natural cycle without creating new dioxide and in no way aggravates the greenhouse effect.

The minimum ash residual produced with combustion is also an ideal fertiliser for your garden as it contains a huge quantity of mineral substances. So absolutely nothing is wasted: an important aspect both ecologically and economically. With the technical solutions Pertinger uses we have the highest possible efficiency, exploiting all the energy of each single log of wood. The revolutionary ecological combustion chamber, created by the company, is not limited to complying with the most severe and restrictive European regulations on environmental protection: it goes way beyond in terms of wellbeing and safety, keeping well below the parameters these regulations have established.
